Leonard A. Banks
As a past-president of the Etobicoke Chamber
of Commerce Leonard A. Banks knows the challenges facing local businesses
and individuals. As a lawyer serving Etobicoke for more than 25 years
he advises clients on how to meet those challenges.
"Our clients expect their professionals
to provide value-added service and we deliver on those expectations."
Leonard says.
Whether it is a real estate deal, a mortgage,
a contract, an incorporation or a lease negotiation Leonard says clients
need a lawyer they can trust who provides competent, timely and affordable
advice.
That’s what Banks & Starkman is about.
"When critical business issues are
at stake clients look for one thing. A solution. Banks & Starkman
can help find that solution." says Leonard who has been practicing
corporate and commercial law for 30 years.
Leonard, who is also the firm’s expert
on Wills and Estate Planning, says, "I take great pride in the
practice we have established."
When Leonard moved his practice to Etobicoke
he says he "made a commitment to provide businesses and residents
with the high quality legal work found in the major downtown firms."
The firm has delivered.
With more than 10,000 files passing through
his office in the time he has practiced law here Leonard says his firm
meets the high expectations of its dedicated and satisfied clients.
"We are client focused and service
oriented." he says adding "We are there for them and want
to be a part of their team. When they succeed we succeed."
Leonard has also been very involved in
the community serving as President of the Etobicoke Chamber of Commerce
on the board of Arts Etobicoke and a campaign manager for Provincial
elections. He also chaired the Law Practice Managment Section of the
Canadian Bar Association-Ontario and has written articles for the local
press.
An avid squash player, Leonard can be found
pounding the courts at the Mayfair Racquet & Fitness Club when he’s
not closing real estate transactions or advising corporate clients on
new developments in the law.
